A prototype stenograph/synthesizer module made by Anne-Marie Lindquist and myself. 4 oscillators connected to various keys. Designed to facilitate a relationship between recording speech or conversation and a weird musical system.
No tonal system implied, all oscillators can be tuned for any relationship desired.
This is just me messing around. I’m definitely interested in developing the idea further, especially because it generates a kind of record or score from the ink ribbon printer (you can kind of see it in the video here).
